He is the creator of different innovative methodologies including Agile Change Lean Sigma 5.0®, Innovation 5.0™, Leadership 5.0™, Dynamic Problem-Solving Method™, Behavior Change Based Safety™, Creativity 5.0™ and TPM 5.0™.

His professional career includes a wide array of management positions in Top World-Class Corporations including DuPont, Cemex, Albea, Borealis, Safran, and Hitachi. He has served customers across 10+ different industries including Loreal, P&G, Estee Lauder, Johnson & Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive, BMW, Ford, Airbus, and Church & Dwight.

Alex’s project expertise includes leading regional and global projects covering all business areas across the organization including operations, sales, supply chain, finance, quality, and HR.

His expertise also includes crafting (from the ground up), implementing and certifying complete management programs including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 22716, API Spec10, and NMX 17025.

With experience coming from leading and coaching over 300 improvement projects and over 100 Kaizens, Author Alejandro Cano created the first Change and Improvement Methodology: Agile Change Lean Sigma 5.0.

Alex has worked with professionals in more than 15 countries and multiple cultural backgrounds. Early in his career, he became twice an ExPat living in Spain and United States.

Alex has been recognized by Who´s Who in America for innovating the Continuous Improvement field.
